It's strawberry time soon

We've got a few early bloomers here on one of the strawberry plants already. These evergreens stayed leafy almost all through winter and rebounded pretty quickly by February, even sending out multiple offsets which I transplanted to a new glazed strawberry pot. Hopefully we'll get to taste these berrilicious fruits before the neighborhood's squirrels and birds do. Last season, the strawberries would disappear the moment they're ripened thanks to our unofficial backyard pets. Well, looking on the bright side, I'd think of the yard garden as these creatures' local grocery store!
