Wow, I've only seen this palm bloom once when I first bought it two summers ago. It was in pretty bad shape after it got sunburned in the car (not entirely my fault). It had lost almost all its leaves then to the merciless UV rays from the summer sun but I managed to nurse it back to health and it even sent out two offshoots! The small yellow flowers are all bunched up near the base of the stem and faded within a couple of days afterward but it was a nice dash of color to the shady spot where it sits now.
