There's no danger of a slug infestation at this time of the year but it helps to be prepared. I received this hilarious tongue-in-cheek book by Sarah Ford as a gift and hopefully some of the tips can come in handy when all the snow's melted and before the garden slugs get a chance to do serious damage to the seedlings and all things leafy and green.
The subtitle of the book reads "practical and silly tips to kill or outwit the number one enemy of your garden" and has various prevention, barrier, chemical, and biological remedies for fending off the hungry slugs. Take your pick of these 50 tips and let me know which ones work best!
